RWM-logoRWM in partnership with CIWM was born in 2010 by merging Emap’s Recycling & Waste Management Exhibition (RWM) and the Chartered Instiution of Wastes Management’s (CIWM) Futuresource event to create the biggest and best event for the recycling, waste and resource efficiency sectors in the UK.

Seminars

With the industry’s largest collection of FREE content, there were 72 seminars with over 100 expert speakers in 2011, including Charles Hendry MP, Lord Digby Jones, Jonathon Porritt and Lucy Siegle. All seminars were CPD accredited by the CIWM and all were FREE to attend. Seminars were across six focused theatres covering issues on local authority, communications, energy, commerce and industry, technology and innovation and also a keynote theatre.

Features

Features in 2011 included a recycled textiles catwalk, live demonstrations, two large visitor lounges provided by Viridor and Stobart Biomass, a Professional Services Clinic with KEMA and Nabarro, a CIWM Circuit Scalextric event, the CIWM Gala Dinner, an Innovation Trail, a Sorbacal Energy from Waste Zone by Lhoist, the UKTI Meet the Buyer event, CIWM Guided Technical Tours, a fully licensed table service restaurant, a massage zone and recycled art.

Exhibitors

650+ exhibitors cover all the key areas: recycling/waste; vehicles; energy; professional services and solutions; plant, machinery and equipment, and street scene and facilities management.

Visitors

This event attracts 13,000 key decision makers with responsibility for recycling, waste and resource efficiency within private, public and third sector organisations.
