WRC logo 2012The World Retail Congress provides the critical context, new ideas and challenging thinking for senior retailers to understand the "new retailing" that is about to emerge from the global recession. Following extensive consultation with the Congress's Advisory Board and retailers around the world, the congress addresses the essential issues pre-occupying retail boardroom agendas with incisive keynote sessions through to in-depth discussions in the focussed business streams. A full programme of thought-leadership studies designed to provide greater insight for retailers form centre-piece presentations at the Congress.

World Retail Congress Asia Pacific 2012

The inaugural World Retail Congress Asia Pacific, launched in 2011 in Hong Kong attracted more than 400 attendees and an outstanding line-up of speakers who brought regional and international insight into how to build strong retail businesses in these fast growing markets. The Congress also proved to be a powerful platform for CEOs to meet and to network.

2012 will see the Congress move to Beijing, capital of one of the world's most exciting and fast-growing marketplaces. The 2012 World Retail Congress Asia programme has been put together following extensive industry consultation and will include: insight into how Asia is transforming the landscape of global retailing; look at the very latest consumer trends; understanding how online and mobile will drive change; examine the future shape of modern retailing across Asia and how international retailers view the opportunities and challenges.
