The EMAP Construction portfolio is in exciting period of development and we are looking for a result driven salesperson to join our highly successful team. We have a global audience of engaged and influential construction professionals who consume our highly valuable content across print, online, e-newsletter, social, and video platforms. We also run some of the most established and respected events within the industry - which recognise excellence and facilitate learning and networking.
The right individual will benefit from a competitive salary, and high-sales performance related bonus
- Delivering/exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual target revenues identifying new revenue streams to generate sustainable growth year on year
- To sell the full range of products in the portfolio – from print, digital and live events through to creative multi-platform sponsorship campaigns
- Proactively and strategically sourcing and securing new business revenue in agreed territory whilst managing and growing existing accounts (70/30)
- Establishing client objectives and presenting the most appropriate solutions
- Liaising with internal content and marketing teams where relevant
- To make the agreed number of calls, trade show visits and client meetings to ensure regular contact with new and existing clients to grow revenue and market share
Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in advertising and sponsorship sales – ideally in a B2B environment. Evidence of building and closing new business from scratch and achieving sales targets and have a track record of working to strong KPIs.
Be resilient, self-motivated with a strong work ethic, proving excellent communication skills: able to develop and maintain strong relationships with team members/clients. If not yet familiar with construction or the built environment, then a proven track record of embracing and becoming passionate about new sectors in a short period of time.
