About the role
We are looking for a capable professional ready to support CN’s production editor across all print and digital output. Ideally, you will have gained at least two years’ experience working in a fast-paced B2B environment.
The role includes sub-editing and fact-checking, so both a keen eye and sharp mind will be essential, as you will often be the last person to touch a story before it reaches our demanding audience. We are also keen to recruit a team player, able to interact confidently with all our reporters and editors to help improve the brand.
An interest in the built environment or experience with a similar technical/business topic would be ideal.
- Subbing expertise including concise headline writing, accurate copy editing and simple picture editing
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, including basic layout skills
- Experience with web CMS and social media platforms
- Familiarity with web analytics applications (ideally Adobe Analytics)
- Basic Illustrator and Photoshop skills would be helpful
