About the role:
As Senior Account Manager of Nursing Times you will join the commercial sales team to drive revenue growth from conference and award sponsorship, bespoke event sponsorship, print advertising, digital advertising and bespoke program sales. You will personally manage a key account client base and will be a significant revenue generator across all platforms – events, print and digital.
You will work closely with the Sales Director, Event Directors and the Editors to develop and build on existing key client strategies, establish new commercial opportunities and drive revenue.
Articulate and self-motivated the ideal candidate will be curious and work to gain understanding of market trends to improve comprehension of your clients’ needs. Learning new skills and to adopt more sophisticated selling styles. Results driven and resilient you will have a clear understanding of B2B marketing solutions with a proven track record of hitting targets and driving sales growth. Specific experience of selling print and digital advertising, conference and awards sponsorships is highly advantageous.
- Maintain regular contact with your clients through email, face-to-face visits and telephone contact Building excellent working relationships
- Produce regular performance reports for the Sales Director.
- Maintain best sales practices of sales process and order management on the company CRM.
- Be team-oriented; partner with colleagues in sales, editorial and operations teams to ensure your client expectations align with the strategic goals and capabilities of the business.
- Work to gain understanding of market trends to improve comprehension of your clients’ needs.
- Monitor market and competitor developments to inform strategy.
