MIMS Ireland is the leading Irish drugs directory and has been a trusted guide for Irish general practitioners and other healthcare professionals since 1960. It is circulated to a subscribed readership of 5,300 monthly.

The core of MIMS Ireland consists of monographs of medicines licensed in Ireland and listed in 20 therapeutic sections. This is supplemented by an editorial clinical focus.

Each month, a main book is published along with a supplement dedicated to a particular clinical area. A monthly e-newsletter is also published. The MIMS Ireland website has a highly engaged audience.

About the role:

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for delivering the client’s advertising needs and growing revenues across MIMS print and digital platforms.

You will be managing accounts for all our key pharmaceutical clients both directly and via agencies.

This is a unique opportunity to manage a trusted brand in Irish healthcare media and continue its success.

The role also extends to sponsorship sales on our annual Irish Healthcare Awards event.

 

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional with a proven track record in account management. Experience in B2B healthcare media sales and planning would be an advantage but is not essential. We intend growing MIMS digital offerings as part of our strategy, so a strong interest/understanding of digital media would go a long way.

Conscientiousness, and an understanding of the importance of meeting targets, are essential to this role.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Selling/managing advertising in MIMS monthly print edition and on www.mims.ie
  • Trafficking online adverts, monitoring their delivery, and providing analytics reports/feedback for clients.
  • Administration of all sales on the company CRM system.
  • Generating new business leads while managing existing accounts to achieve sales targets and drive yield.
  • Selling event sponsorship/seat sales to new and repeat clients.
  • Liaising with our marketing team on ensure the success of our events.
